Company details:
The paw is a startup business that hastily set up their website via wix. The busy owners were able to get a website up but both lacked the time to fully design their website for desktop and mobile. I reached out to the company after I visited the business to help both them and myself to gain a better designed website and for some real world experience for me.

The home page didn't need much changing. Overall the desktop was functional and had the design the owners wanted.

The mobile version of the home page had a few layout. The header section hamburger menu and the text not having a good flow for the user. Also under the logo there is black text that is lost against the background.
Roles & Responsibilities
My main goal for this project was to help the user experience and make the site fully functional for both mobile and desktop. Their desktop version was overall okay and didn't need much design work to be done. The main goal for the desktop was to make sure all the buttons worked and lead to the correct pages. I created a page for their self services that they offer at the business, and also a page saying that they also have many products that they keep in stock for their customers to buy.

The few changes I made with the initial home screen is I changed the navigation to a black color to create more contrast and easier to find. I incorporated their new logo in the middle with a rounded off rectangle to better match the squared off image of the background to have similar edges and better cohesion. Also the navigation bar was stuck to the top making it over lay the page as the user would scroll down making things harder to read and navigate. I fixed that by anchoring it to the top and to have a fade out animation as the user would scroll downwards but would return once the user began to scroll up and put a background color behind it so it was easy to read.

Some of the changes I made to this section was make the cards the same size in the mobile version and made the self-service and shop buttons linked up the the correct corresponding pages that I made. I also changed the boarder radius to match the same as the logo above.

Scope & Constraints:
The main scope of this project was fulfilled and gave the client a better looking and functional website. Some constraints that I experienced while working on this project was the client wanted to add an online booking for their groomers. With using wix there are only a few addons that are available to use and most of them are locked behind a pay wall. The main struggle with that is that 2 of the groomers can take on 2 dogs for a two hour block and the addons can't allow double booking.
